Where we Are

If you appreciate being within walking distance (approx. 1 Km) of the Colosseum and the ancient Roman Forum, the famous Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain and just 400 meters from Termini train station, if you’re looking for a strategic position to visit the city, pick this choice accommodation in an elegant, two-floor residence.

AREA

N. 230, a prestigious building dating back to 1880, is located on via Nazionale,  in the midst of a highly interesting neighborhood from a historical and artistic point of view, an area with important museums, churches and theaters. It is one of the city’s main streets and is characterized by a lively atmosphere, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.  The area is also home to the Opera Theater, the Scuderie del Quirinale, which hosts the Capital’s most important exhibitions, and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, also on Via Nazionale. Rome’s top hotels are concentrated in this area, between Piazza della Repubblica and Via Nazionale.

BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

HOW TO REACH US

We do not recommend driving into Rome to visit the city, since access hours to Rome’s historic center are limited (see Zona ZTL – Limited Traffic Area below).  For those who do not wish to take a taxi, we are 400/500 meters from Termini station, which is connected by train with Fiumicino airport every 30 minutes.  N. 230 is located on the corner with Via Quattro Fontane, it is the third block on the right coming from Piazza della Repubblica(a.k.a. Piazza Esedra). The Reception is on the fifth floor on the left. Domus Livia is on the same floor. If you have made a reservation for Welcome House you will be escorted to the fourth floor.

Zona ZTL (Limited Traffic Area)

Please note that Via Nazionale is located in Rome’s historic center, an area with limited access hours for automobiles. Access is allowed:

- Monday to Friday between 6 PM and 6:30 AM ( on Fridays access not allowed between 11 PM and 3 AM);

- Saturday (access not allowed between 2 PM and 6 PM and between 11 PM and 3 AM) ;

- Sunday all day

For those driving, we suggest parking in the paying garage we have an agreement with (between € 30 and € 35, depending on the car’s engine power). It is in via Modena n. 10, a street located outside of the Zona ZTL, therefore without limited access hours, just 50/100 meters from our facility.

BY CAR FROM THE HIGHWAY

If you decide to travel by car, we suggest parking in the garage we have an agreement with, located in Via Modena n. 10 (outside of the Zona ZTL and very close to our Residence). The following directions are for the only route you should take ( so as to avoid fines for entering the Zona ZTL), regardless of the area of Rome you are driving from:  take Largo di S. Susanna as your reference point, after the roundabout turn right onto Via XX Settembre, turn left on Via Firenze (if you continue on Via XX Settembre you will reach a ZTL passage you should avoid), Via Modena.

Upon entering the Ring Road surrounding the city: .

1) if you are driving from the North, choose the Salario/Centro direction and follow this route: take Via Salaria towards the city center, Via Veneto, Via Bissolati, Largo di  S. Susanna.

2) If you are coming from the South, choose the Appia/Roma Centro direction and follow this route: take Via Appia up to S. Giovanni, Via Merulana, Piazza S. Maria Maggiore, Via Cavour, Piazza dei Cinquecento, Piazza della Repubblica (Do not drive onto Via Nazionale if the ZTL passage is activated),  Via XX Settembre, Largo di S. Susanna.
